{"id":176,"date":"2023-04-11T18:10:45","date_gmt":"2023-04-11T16:10:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambharare.esteri.it\/diplomazia-culturale\/"},"modified":"2026-10-06T09:03:36","modified_gmt":"2026-10-06T07:03:36","slug":"diplomazia-culturale","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ambharare.esteri.it\/en\/italia-e-zimbabwe\/diplomazia-culturale\/","title":{"rendered":"Cultural diplomacy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cultural diplomacy represents one of the main instruments through which Italy uses its excellences and its cultural heritage, including the numerous assets and sites recognized by UNESCO, to foster dialogue among peoples, strengthen relations with other Countries and consolidate its presence abroad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Language, arts, education, the immense cultural heritage, sport and academic exchanges contribute to creating connections and opportunities for collaboration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this context, the Embassy of Italy in Harare promotes Italian culture in Zimbabwe through a series of initiatives that aim to prioritise people, institutions and ties between the two Countries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A central role is also attributed to education and vocational training, through university partnerships, mobility and training programmes and the provision of scholarships to support students and their academic training.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Finally, cooperation focuses on the qualification of human resources and on technology transfer, with the aim of strengthening skills and supporting development and innovation in Zimbabwe.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Cultural diplomacy represents one of the main instruments through which Italy uses its excellences and its cultural heritage, including the numerous assets and sites recognized by UNESCO, to foster dialogue among peoples, strengthen relations with other Countries and consolidate its presence abroad.
