Italian economic diplomacy represents one of the instruments through which the Italian diplomatic network supports Italy’s presence and competitiveness in the world, promoting opportunities for Italian companies and fostering the development of economic and commercial relations with partner Countries.

One of the objectives of this activity is to promote the presence of cutting-edge Italian technologies in sectors such as agro-industry, renewable energy, infrastructure and manufacturing, contributing to the modernization of Zimbabwe’s productive sectors and to the achievement of the objectives of the National Development Strategy 2 (NDS2).
