Scientific diplomacy indicates the role that scientific exchanges and collaboration between scientists or scientific organizations from different Countries can play in international relations. Among the main areas in which Italy promotes scientific diplomacy, also in relations with Zimbabwe, are innovation and research. Our Country carries forward the conviction that there can be no economic development without innovation and support for scientific research.
In fact, maintaining competitiveness in increasingly complex global markets requires the constant application of new technologies to production processes, in order to obtain innovative products with high added value.
