#WeAreAreItaly: a video report concludes the Foreign Ministry campaign

The #WeAreItaly campaign, promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, concluded with a video report signed by directors Matteo Botrugno and Daniele Coluccini. The video collects the exciting daily diary of the many musicians, singers, film and theatre actors, writers, performers, dancers, chefs (over one hundred in total) who joined in a collective embrace to Italy during COVID-19 emergency.

“Many artists have joined the #WeAreItaly campaign organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to spread the image of a strong country that never gives up,” Minister of Foreign Affairs Luigi Di Maio has commented, “Italian and international, established and emerging artists have sent us a video message giving us all strength and energy with their music.

The campaign, which reached a total of about three million views on the Foreign Ministry social channels.

#WeAreItaly closes with a message of hope: as Italy prepares to gradually emerge from the emergency, the Foreign Ministry is defining a strategic plan to promote Italy abroad that will also involve the world of culture, tourism and Made in Italy. It is a shared commitment to restart from cultural and creative identity. Because we are Italy.
